Medvedev Sets up Commission to Investigate Sukhoi Superjet 100 Crashes in Indonesia

Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said if he has formed a commission to investigate the cause of the crash of Sukhoi Superjet 100 in Indonesia, the news agency RiaNovosti reported on Thursday (5/10/2012).

The commission led by Minister of Industry and Trade Yury Slyusar and consists of officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and United Aircraft Corporation.

Reported previously, the crash site of Sukhoi Superjet 100 is already known, that on Mount Salak, precisely in the Ratu crater, at about 9:30 pm. The plane was reported missing the day before, Wednesday (09/05/2012) evening.

Sukhoi Superjet 100 that crashed in Indonesia is part of the Asian Roadshow, a promotional tour in six Asian countries, namely Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Pakistan,Myanmar, Laos, and Vietnam.
