There is a Survivor at Aircraft Accident in Amazon

Three days ago, a small plane crashed in the Amazon jungle region of Bolivia. Bolivian authorities say, eight people on board were killed.

However, Xinhua news on Saturday (10.9.2011), shows one person was found alive in the wilderness. Minor Vidal, the only surviving suffered head injuries and injuries in the ribs. "The relief team had found eight bodies at the crash site. At first, the team thought Vidal, nine passengers, lost," said the Bolivian authorities.

Aeropon plane carrying seven passengers. Of that amount, there are two Colombian nationals and two crew. The accident occurred about 10 kilometers in the northeast of Trinidad, capital of Beni province, northern Bolivia.

Vidal told the rescue services said, when the incident, he was thrown from the fuselage. "I walk several miles to seek help," he said.

According to Vidal, he saw the rescue boat. "I waved the shirt I was wearing, and shouting to attract attention of rescue services," he said again.

Rescuers eventually found Vidal and took him to hospital. Vidal is a 35-year-old father of two daughters. "Vidal survival was a miracle," he commented Bolivian Defense Minister Cecilia Chacon.
